These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of milofreightservicesinc.com (the “Site”) and any messages you exchange with Milo Freight Services Inc (“Milo Freight”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through it. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Milo Freight Services Inc is a motor carrier registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under USDOT number 4306964 and MC number MC-1678210, with offices at 1141 N Swift Rd, Unit 106, Addison, IL 60101, United States.

1. What this Site is

The Site provides general information about our trucking services and a way to get in touch with us. It is informational only.

2. Quotes and contracts of carriage

Nothing on this Site is an offer to carry freight, and submitting the contact form does not create a contract or reserve capacity. Any rate we give you is an estimate based on the information you provide, is valid only for the period stated, and may change if the actual commodity, weight, dimensions, locations, accessorial requirements or timing differ from what you told us.

Carriage of any shipment is governed by the applicable bill of lading, our rate confirmation or transportation agreement, our tariff, and applicable federal and state law, including 49 U.S.C. § 14706 (the Carmack Amendment). Where those documents conflict with these Terms in relation to a shipment, those documents control.

3. Information you give us

You agree that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it. You are responsible for correctly describing your freight, including weight, dimensions and any hazardous or regulated characteristics. We do not accept household goods, and we do not accept hazardous materials unless we have agreed to in writing in advance.

4. Messaging terms (SMS)

These messaging terms apply if you give us your mobile number and opt in to text messages.

  • Programme description. Milo Freight Services Inc sends conversational and operational text messages — replies to your enquiry, pickup and delivery updates, and paperwork requests.
  • How to opt in. Check the SMS consent box on our contact form, or reply to a message from us. The box is unchecked by default and you must actively check it.
  • Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, quote or service.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your enquiry and your shipment.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
  • How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages to that number.

  • Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or our contact form for spam, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or any connected system.
  • Scrape, copy or republish the Site’s content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Site.

6. Intellectual property

The content, layout, logo and name on this Site belong to Milo Freight Services Inc and may not be used without our written permission. Safety and registration data shown on this Site is sourced from public Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration records.

7. Accuracy and availability

We take care to keep the Site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, and we may change it at any time. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption. Links to third-party sites, such as the FMCSA SAFER system, are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Milo Freight Services Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for cargo loss or damage, which is governed by the bill of lading, our transportation agreement and applicable law, including the Carmack Amendment.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in DuPage County, Illinois, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. This section does not affect any forum or procedure required by federal transportation law for cargo claims.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
